Carer break & sitting support

Non-clinical companionship and sitting support in Oxfordshire so a family member or usual carer can take a break.

How it works

Practical support, arranged around the person.

We can stay with a loved one for an agreed period so their family member or usual carer can rest, attend an appointment or have time away. The focus is companionship, reassurance and practical support within our current non-regulated scope.

What this can include

  • Companionship and a reassuring presence at home
  • Conversation, hobbies and quiet shared activities
  • Simple drinks, snacks and light practical support
  • Agreed non-clinical wellbeing check-ins
  • Agreed updates to family, with the person’s consent

Who this may suit

  • Families who need a short, planned break from their usual caring role
  • Adults who are comfortable being supported within our non-regulated service boundaries
  • People who would benefit from company and reassurance while a family member is away
