Support built around people, not just tasks.
Oxford Healthcare Services is an Oxfordshire-based support provider created to help adults live with greater independence, confidence, connection and wellbeing. Through our Wellbeing Support service, we currently provide flexible, non-regulated support for adults aged 18 and over.
We understand that the right support can make a meaningful difference to everyday life. For one person that may mean regular companionship and conversation; for another it may be help with shopping, attending appointments, getting out into the community, keeping on top of everyday routines, light household support or having a trusted person present overnight through our night-sitting service.
Our aim is to provide support that feels respectful, dependable and personal. We take time to understand the individual, what matters to them, the routines they want to keep and the areas where a little extra help could make life easier.
What guides us
- Care and compassion — approaching every person with kindness and understanding.
- Dignity and respect — listening, protecting choice and treating people as individuals.
- Independence — supporting people to do as much as they can for themselves rather than taking over.
- Reliability — building trust through consistent, professional support.
- Connection and wellbeing — helping people remain involved in their community and the things that matter to them.
Our vision for Oxford Healthcare Services
Oxford Healthcare Services has been developed with a long-term vision. We are starting by building a strong, high-quality non-regulated wellbeing support service, with appropriate systems, safeguarding, workforce standards and person-centred ways of working at its foundation.
As the organisation develops, our intention is to progress towards providing regulated care services in the future, subject to successful registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and meeting all applicable regulatory requirements.
This means we are building for the future without overstating where we are today. We are not currently registered to provide regulated activities. Until CQC registration is granted for any regulated activity we apply for, Oxford Healthcare Services will continue to provide non-regulated support only.
Growing responsibly
Our ambition is not simply to become bigger; it is to grow responsibly. We want the people and families who use Oxford Healthcare Services to know what they can expect from us, to feel listened to and to have confidence that our services will develop around clear standards of quality, safety, dignity and respect.
In time, and only following the appropriate CQC registration, our goal is to broaden the support we can offer so that people can continue their relationship with Oxford Healthcare Services as their needs change.
Supporting better days
Sometimes it is the small things that make the greatest difference — a friendly conversation, getting out for a coffee, keeping on top of shopping, enjoying a favourite activity, having someone present overnight, or simply knowing that reliable support is there.
Our purpose is simple: to help people remain independent, connected and supported while continuing to live life on their own terms.
